In existence since 1916, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) is the preeminent organization of and national voice for
middle level and high school principals, assistant principals, and aspiring school leaders from across the United States and more than 45 countries around the world. The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since it was established by the National Association of Secondary School Principals in 1921.
Since 1931 the goal of the National Association of Student Councils (NASC) has been to help all student councils become more effective organizations. NASC, as a program of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, provides resources and leadership development opportunities to prepare and empower student leaders to serve their schools and communities. It seeks to provide a valuable leadership partnership between students and their school. NASC creates the opportunity for students to become effective leaders, thus encouraging and influencing a positive school climate.
The Kairos Society is an undergraduate entrepreneurship society; we unite the brightest minds from the top universities around the world with a common passion -- to drive the innovations of tomorrow.
