To support this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, the World Bank Group will host a workshop to highlight the efforts and challenges in supporting entrepreneurship in emerging markets and frontier countries. The main objective of this workshop is to bring together development partners, foundations, research institutions, IFC clients and practitioners to discuss the entrepreneurship landscape, share best practices on governance, challenges and impediments to ‘scaling-up’ successful enterprises in emerging markets, and identify solutions for entrepreneurs in frontier markets extrapolated from developed markets.
