Mentoring Madness aims to inspire young entrepreneurs by learning from those at the top of their game. The panel will feature several high-profile entrepreneurs, including Blake Mycoskie, founder and Chief Shoe Giver of TOMs Shoes; Barry S. Sternlicht, Chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital; and, Stephen P. Hanson, founder and president of B.R. Guest Restaurants, a New York-based, multi-concept operator that includes fifteen restaurants in three cities.
Local university students are once again invited to attend the event and ask questions, which will be broadcast via streaming video on the Web, for young entrepreneurs around the world to watch.
Local Partners are encouraged to host their own mentoring events during Mentoring Madness, inviting a local panel of successful entrepreneurs and incorporating the NYSE Euronext feed into their event.
Since mentoring is one of the key messages of the Week this activity offers hosts and partners a unique experience to reach youth in their area, while at the same time exposing them to entrepreneurs who can give them the kind of useful insight that comes only from those who have already successfully walked that path
