The Global Entrepreneurship Week Planning and Launch Event
Plans for the Week Unveiled
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown joined Carl Schramm of the Kauffman Foundation in starting the countdown to Global Entrepreneurship Week, 17-23 November 2008, the world's biggest single event celebrating and promoting entrepreneurship amongst young people. Representatives from more than 25 participating countries were on hand for the announcement and working sessions designed to share information and plan for the coming year. The event took place during Enterprise Week, the centrepiece of Make Your Mark's campaign to promote enterprise culture to young people in the UK.
