The first week of Startup Weekend's Global Startup Battle kicked off yesterday with 13 events in 4 countries. 156 new startup teams will be working for the rest of the weekend, to create the first Global Startup Battle winner!
- Startup Weekend Indianapolis is off to a running start... for a little city, they have 8 teams. Their oldest participant will be 69 on Thanksgiving day, and their youngest team leader is 9 years old. #swindy
- Lisbon Startup Weekend (Portugal): more than 60 pitches (craziness!!) and 24 teams were formed #swLX
