Global Entrepreneurship Week / Portugal will broadcast its opening session to the world on November 15, from 9.30am until 6.00pm GMT.

The Opening Session will include the High Patronage of President Anibal Cavaco Silva, who will deliver a message to the GEW community in Portugal. It also features Jonathan Ortmans, president of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

During this session, entrepreneurs from Portugal, Brazil, Spain, the United Kingdom, the US and India will talk about their experiences through WEBEX technology -- thanks to support from Cisco. Other highlights include the announcement of the Startup Week Lisbon winners, along with panel discussion on “Entrepreneurship and Education” and “Entrepreneurship and Innovation”.
