After the President of Chile, Sebastián Piñera, declared 2012 the year of venture. Chile has extended its fourth annual Global Entrepreneurship Week into a month-long celebration to accommodate the large number of activities planned. The event reflects an increasing national focus on the promotion and strengthening of the culture of innovation. The month caps off Chile's Year of Entrepreneurship and ushers in 2013, the Year of Innovation.
