Since 2009 The Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED) has hosted Global Entrepreneurship Week in Montenegro. Striving to create a successful event, CEED has confirmed its desire to support and promote the idea of entrepreneurship, private property and free markets, and in this way support any initiative that leads to the realization of business ideas. For 2012 CEED has organized a handful of activities in Montenegro including:

  • - Supporting the organization of a school of entrepreneurship and innovation for youth.  For the third year in a row the school is organized for graduates of the University of Donja Gorica, and is intended for high school students from across Montenegro. This year the organizers intend to bring together 111 participants, who will during the five-day program have the opportunity to learn about the basics of entrepreneurship and innovation. Traditionally, students listen to lectures from entrepreneurs, and representatives of the institutions that are important for creating entrepreneurial climate in the country , visited the Prime Minister of Montenegro, and certificates were awarded after the course had concluded and is presented to them by the Ministry of Education.
  • - Present research findings on women’s entrepreneurship, in cooperation with the Committee on Women’s Entrepreneurship of Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro (PKCG) The event will take place later this week on November 16th  at the main CEED offices.
